PowerOn Reliance SCADA Engineer - Wokingham - 6 months - Inside IR35 We are hiring experienced PowerOn Reliance SCADA Engineers to support a major utilities programme, delivering critical system validation and integration across transmission SCADA environments. This role will focus on testing, configuration, and end-to-end validation of GE PowerOn Reliance (PoR) systems, ensuring successful deployment across complex operational landscapes. This is a delivery-focused role requiring strong hands-on expertise in SCADA systems, integration, and testing within live or near-live power environments. Key Responsibilities Design and execute testing and validation across GE PowerOn Reliance (PoR) SCADA and EMS systems Perform functional, non-functional, and integration testing across multiple environments Deliver end-to-end SCADA system validation aligned to business and operational requirements Create and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and test cases Configure and support PoR components including Application Servers, Database Servers, FEP (Front End Processors), and Historian systems Collaborate with system integrators, vendors, and internal delivery teams to ensure alignment with requirements Support integration of SCADA systems with enterprise applications and external interfaces Act as a subject matter expert across SCADA testing and validation phases Work within Agile teams to support delivery, defect management, and reporting using tools such as JIRA/XRAY Ensure adherence to defined test strategies, standards, and processes Must-Have Experience Strong hands-on experience with GE PowerOn Reliance (PoR) SCADA Experience working within Transmission/Utilities SCADA environments Proven background in SCADA testing including FAT, SIT, UAT, and integration testing Experience in system validation, defect management, and test execution Experience configuring and supporting SCADA/EMS environments Strong knowledge of industry protocols including IEC 101, IEC 104, and IEC 61850 Experience integrating SCADA systems with enterprise platforms and external interfaces Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, data flows, and system dependencies Experience working within Agile environments using tools such as JIRA What's on offer? GCP Infrastructure Engineer - 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35) - Hybrid (Multiple locations) We're looking for a Senior GCP Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join our Public Cloud Platform and play a key role in delivering compliant, scalable and efficient Google Cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities across the Group. Office Locations: Bristol, Leeds, Halifax, Manchester, Edinburgh Key Responsibilities: Deliver hands-on GCP cloud engineering with a strong background in DevOps and CI/CD. Design, curate and maintain scalable GCP Cloud Products using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop automated workflows and tooling using Python Scripting. Work with GKE, containers, Istio service mesh and cluster management. Audit, optimise and refactor existing Terraform modules, state files and architectures.
