Parks & Grounds Officer (formally Grounds Operative) - 2 vacancies available Location: Salisbury Salary: £24,796 per annum Vacancy Type: 37 hours per week on a seasonal rota (Summer and winter). Person specification: Able to work outdoors, in all weathers Keen team player Interested in all aspects of grounds maintenance Committed in supporting the community and residents of Salisbury Physically able to carry out manual tasks, including: mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, planting, sports pitch marking, gardening. Dependable and a good time keeper Demonstrates a professional and polite attitude Able to use own initiative and follow risk assessments Role/tasks Overview: Grass cutting Gardening -Weeding-planting-maintaining-display Sports pitch marking Hedge cutting General grounds maintenance Essential requirement: Full driving license Desirable requirements: Previous experience in a similar role.
