You'll be responsible for safely operating a Class 2 vehicle while working as part of a team to collect, transport and unload waste and recycling materials across the Bristol area. The Role Safely drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in line with legal requirements and company procedures. Collect, load, transport and unload waste and recycling materials. Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly. Tip vehicles at approved recycling and waste facilities. Accurately complete paperwork and electronic records using handheld devices. Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and presentation. Deliver excellent customer service and communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and the public. Work flexibly across different operational locations when required. Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving regular lifting, moving bins and recycling containers, and working in all weather conditions.
