Lead General Manager £70,000 per annum plus staff benefits Permanent, full-time Founded over 30 years ago, Sir Cameron Mackintosh's Delfont Mackintosh Theatres Ltd owns and operates eight of the most prestigious theatres in London's West End: the Gielgud, Noël Coward, Novello, Sondheim, Prince Edward, Prince of Wales, Victoria Palace and Wyndham's. The Lead General Manager (Staff Resource) is a key position within DMT's Operations Division, leading the Prince of Wales and the Gielgud Theatres, together with groupwide responsibilities for staff resource across the division. In their two venues, the Lead General Manager will ensure consistent and exceptional service and safety standards, commerciality, and take responsibility for engaging and developing the best teams. The groupwide responsibilities will require a detailed overview of the division's staffing requirements, including centralised recruitment and overseeing rostering, and ensuring the SOLT/BECTU agreement is applied consistently across the division. The post will also work in collaboration with the other three Lead General Managers on cross-departmental projects. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role at a comparable organisation of equivalent size and scale, with a proven track record of managing large teams, and a commitment to ensuring excellent standards of customer experience are delivered. They will need to be highly organised with an ability to work under pressure. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
