The role will be patrolling within student accommodation, including some reception controlling all access & egress, issuing passes to visitors & staff. Ensuring no unauthorised access and the safety of all students. Candidates should have previous experience of working with students - either on a campus, school, or similar environment. Mental Health first aid certification is also required. You must have a current SIA DS & be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check. A CCTV licence would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Lead health & safety across multiple construction projects. Develop and implement Construction Phase Plans. Support Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes. Investigate incidents and produce reports, including RIDDOR reporting where required. Review RAMS, permits to work and site safety documentation. Deliver health & safety briefings and training. Essential NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (Diploma advantageous). Strong knowledge of: Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 CDM Regulations 2015 RIDDOR RAMS ISO 45001 Safety Management Systems Previous experience within construction, electrical, industrial or commercial environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Ability to obtain security clearance. Desirable Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline. IOSH Membership (TechIOSH, GradIOSH or CMIOSH), or willingness to work towards accreditation.
