We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Technical Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. As a Technical Operator, you will play a key role in the efficient running of the production line, operating equipment and machinery, supporting continuous improvement activities, and helping the team achieve production targets. What You'll Be Doing As a Technical Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our production lines run safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: Operating and monitoring production equipment and machinery. Carrying out routine line checks and basic fault finding. Supporting the achievement of daily production targets. Maintaining excellent hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. Completing production records and quality documentation accurately. Identifying and reporting safety or quality concerns. Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth shift handovers and efficient operations. Contributing ideas for continuous improvement and process optimisation. Operating forklift trucks safely where required (training/authorisation provided where applicable). What We're Looking For Essential: Experience working in a commercial food production or catering environment. NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Catering. Food Safety Level 2 qualification (or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. A positive, energetic, and self-motivated attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Desirable: Food Safety Level 3 qualification. HACCP Level 2 qualification. Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery. What We Offer: Competitive salary: £30,205 per annum plus shift pay (up to £7,741pa). Strong brand management and marketing experience, ideally including innovation development. A proven track record of delivering successful growth initiatives and marketing campaigns. Excellent commercial acumen and analytical capability. The ability to translate data and insights into clear recommendations and action plans. Experience working effectively across multiple functions and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
