Oracle Systems Administration Manager - Oracle Fusion HCM (Contract) - URGENT Immediate Requirement - Critical Hire We are working on a business-critical Oracle Fusion environment and need an experienced Oracle Systems Administration Manager available at short notice. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will take ownership of platform stability, performance, and strategic direction with a particular focus on Oracle HCM and Absence Management (statutory absence/Absence case solution). This is not a standard admin role, we need someone who can lead from the front, stabilise, optimise, and drive improvements quickly. What You'll Be Doing Taking full ownership of the Oracle Fusion platform, governance, configuration, and performance Leading incident, problem, and outage management in a fast-paced environment Driving system optimisation, resilience, and proactive monitoring Acting as the senior escalation point for stakeholders (including leadership) Managing and holding 3rd party/Managed Service providers accountable Overseeing change & release cycles (monthly/quarterly updates) with rigorous testing Delivering clear, strategic reporting on performance, incidents, and risk Ensuring documentation, controls, and governance are fit for purpose and audit-ready Leading and developing a high-performing support team Supporting the Oracle roadmap and continuous improvement strategy Essential Experience Strong track record in Oracle Fusion Systems Administration (lead/manager level) Deep experience with Oracle HCM Hands-on experience with Oracle Absence Management/statutory absence solutions Proven ability to stabilise and optimise live environments under pressure Strong knowledge of ITIL (incident, problem, change) Experience managing vendors/managed services Confident dealing with senior stakeholders and escalations There is a fast process as this is an urgent need. The role is Inside IR35, and you will need to be in the office (Central London) 2 or 3 days a week. Initial duration is three months and likely to extend as the programme is 12 months.
