Main Duties: As a Financial Controller, your main duties include: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts, and regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards, financial regulations, and relevant legislation. Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls. Oversee VAT and corporation tax returns where applicable. Support partner organisations or associated projects with financial services where required. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting, including the use of new systems, automation, and emerging technologies. Maintain and update the chart of accounts to reflect organisational and funding needs. Oversee cash flow forecasting to ensure effective financial management.
