We are seeking a reliable and motivated machine operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up production lines, monitoring performance, and ensuring efficient output while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will take full ownership of at least one production line, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting team members on the line. Key Responsibilities Set up production lines, including machinery and auxiliary equipment, in a timely manner Monitor and adjust machine controls to ensure efficient and continuous operation Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, legality, and site procedures Complete and sign off all required documentation, including CCP, weight checks, and line checks Manage all aspects of line performance, including: Housekeeping Waste management Replenishment of consumables Ensure products meet company and customer quality specifications Carry out all required checks, tests, and monitoring, maintaining accurate records Ensure the production line is cleaned to approved standards using agreed-upon verification methods Work towards achieving KPIs such as productivity, wastage reduction, and on-time delivery Support and direct team members on the line, allocating tasks as required Undertake additional duties as directed by the Line Lead or Management Key Skills & Experience Fully signed off on the Operational Skills Matrix for Machine Operator level Trained in CCP and weight checks CIP trained Ability to set up and operate production lines across multiple stations Strong understanding of machine and line operations Proven ability to support leadership and supervise team members Good communication and people management skills Consistent performance and attendance record (acceptable Bradford Factor) Hours of work: Mon to Fri - 7h00 - 18h00 Key Performance Indicators Achieve production targets including output, uptime, and wastage reduction Support the team in meeting food safety, health & safety, and housekeeping standards Develop skills and knowledge to progress into a Lead role
