Sales Executive Huddersfield PERMANENT 30k + Our client, an web-based designer and manufacturer of sportswear has an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Sales Executive to join their team. Duties of the role include: Responding to leads generate by on-line adverts ( email & phone ) Acting as the point of contact for customers Discussing individual requirements for each client Up-Selling additional products Identifying additional leads Customer Service Ideal candidates will have experience of working in a sales / customer service style role, and be used to working with IT Packages such as WORD, Excel and Outlook. As the Product Development Engineer, you will be expected to work as part of a team to solve complex fluid power related problems, there will be an emphasis on new product development, but also to develop and enhance existing products. In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to collaborate and work as part of an engineering team, you will also spend a portion of your time in a hands on production environment. The ideal product development engineer will also be working with external customers which may sometimes require travel to their location. Experience in high pressure hydraulic piston pump or valve experience is a must, and you must have proven experience in this field. Product Design and Development Design and development of hydraulic components and systems Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using advanced CAD software Utilize simulation software such as CFD and FEA Design systems that optimize energy consumption and performance Work with remote monitoring and associated sensors and hardware Understand fluid power application requirements in various markets. Assist production in analysing failures to determine root cause and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop test procedures and conduct prototype validation testing. Work with manufacturing partners and vendors to develop and update production processes and specifications to ensure quality and performance of components. Candidate As the ideal product development engineer, your role will be primarily office based (no remote working), you will need to visit/work on the shop floor from time to time, so there is a degree of physical work involved. You will ideally be degree educated in mechanical engineering, or related, have experience in fluid design or working within fluid power industry, with high pressure hydraulic piston pump or valve experience and a track record in successful engineering projects. With all this experience it will be a given that you have the technical and soft skills to be a success in the role. This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work regular office hours with a lunchtime finish on a Friday ( 36 hours ). Understanding and working in accordance with the company H&S directives Identifying continuous improvements as part of the team objective Operate within the boundaries of the company quality system to ensure the requirements of the company accreditations are supported. You Previous working experience in manufacturing environments Be methodical and thorough. Maintain a high degree of accuracy of measurement and data recording while working with tape measures and verniers. Good attitude towards managers and co-workers Be able to work overtime as required. STORES OPERATOR HUDDERSFIELD/BRADLEY PERMANENT 27,000 or 13.89 per hour 6am to 2pm Mon to Thur 6am to 11.30am Friday 2pm to 10pm Mon to Thur 11.30am to 5pm Friday 37 1/2 hour week Due to on-going growth, our client, a large manufacturing business with a solid reputation, are looking to recruit a well versed stores operative to join their team on a permanent basis. The Role Work as a team to ensure departmental targets, company targets and customer deadlines are achieved Picking and packing Sales Orders in the Stores Department. Picking parts from locations in stores to be built by the Assembly department Packing parts for export to our distributors and self-assemblers around the world Retrieving tube from racking using VNA articulated Fork Lift Trucks ( Not essential ) Use of Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck in the Cold Stores and yard Housekeeping, keeping the department safe, tidy and presentable. The ideal stores operative will have a good knowledge of maths and English, and basic computer skills - though training will be given. You will have a positive attitude, good communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
