1st Staff Limited are one of the leading alternative providers working nationwide with hubs and specialist staff helping students from 4-25 years of age with both education and therapeutic needs. The Role 1st Staff requires a tutor who is able to work with one or more students who are not able to work attend mainstream education in the Hertfordshire area. You will be required to deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain the confidence and attainment levels required in order to gain the qualifications needed to get them to return to further education. Position Details Location- In the Student's homes or community centre Position 1:1 Tutor Hours- 3 Hours a day, 5 days a week (During school hours, flexible on start times, more hours available) Start date- ASAP Subjects- Maths and English Experience Required: Have a good knowledge level of Maths and English Able to plan and deliver lessons Benefits will include Excellent pay rates (£18-£25 per hour) Flexible working hours Part-time or full-time work available Long-term and short-term contracts available Students within close proximity to each other Having your own transport is not necessary but could be beneficial. The Role 1st Staff are looking for a Tutor to work with children with a range of SEN in the St. Albans area. The role will be to deliver sessions on a 1:1 basis to young people unable to attend mainstream education. The ideal candidate would have a caring and friendly nature allowing them to build a rapport with the young person. Experience as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant or Mentor would also be Position Details Location - Child's home, Local library or Community Centre Position - 1:1 Tutor Hours - Part-time or Full-time - Most referrals are between 10-15h/week. Tutors looking for a full-time role would usually work with multiple students. Start date - ASAP Subjects - English & Maths Experience Required: Working with a range of SEN Able to plan and deliver fun and interesting lessons Benefits will include Excellent daily pay rates dependent on experience Full-time work available Long-term Contracts Having your own transport or ability to travel wouldn t be necessary but would be beneficial.
