About the Provision: A small, well-led, nurturing alternative provision committed to providing every student with the best possible education, preparing them for life beyond school. The Role: Teaching Assistant - Mon - Fri (5 days a week) 8:15am - 4pm To start asap until half term Responsibilities: Follow all school policies Support teachers to deliver engaging lessons Ideal candidate: Experienced TA Knowledge of SEN would be preferable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong classroom management skills A motived and enthusiastic TA helping to support the next generation Why Classroom Teachers Ltd? The role would be Monday to Friday 7:30am -3:30pm Your day will consist of the following duties: Opening the building in the morning General school maintenance for the building and grounds. Repairing faults across the school and playgrounds. Conducting fire safety , security and H&S checks for the site. Event set up and take down. Support and assist colleagues to conduct specific/ad hoc caretaking tasks when required Ensuring the school and grounds are clean and tidy Dealing with both external and internal contractors Grounds work This role is an ongoing position, but may turn permanent for the right candidate. Please note: Classroom Teachers Ltd undertake checks on all of our candidates in line with safeguarding legislation. As such, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not hold a subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
