TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work for one of the UKs largest and leading FM companies supporting them on a contract in Moreton-In-Marsh The salary is £36,631/pa Monday Friday working 40-hour week Call out 1-in 4 (Monday to Friday, only for emergencies) after 40 hours As a static M&E Engineer, you ll be the first point of contact for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and general building services across your allocated site. The work will be PPM and Building Services focused. The tasks could include lighting and power upgrades, circuit board repairs, emergency light testing, and other planned maintenance. You will also be asked to support with general plumbing and fabric work without the facility including minor repairs. In this role you'll be overseeing day-to-day facilities operations across one site covering general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks across building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and fabric. Salary -£35,952 based on 35 hours contact Working hours 35 hours per week Static Location - Stoke Responsibilities Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across building systems covering electrical, mechanical and fabric. Overseeing fire safety activities, including alarm testing and fire drills. Identifying and escalating maintenance risks, hazards, and repair needs to the Facilities Manager. Providing support for compliance inspections, audits, and reporting activities. Participating in emergency response and out-of-hours support (where required). The role is based in Nottingham on a 6-month contract basis paying 15.91 per hour. As an Assistant Technician, you will be part of the maintenance team working towards set production targets to ensure trains meet ever exacting and challenging standards and are delivered to customers on time. The Role: Service, maintain, repair and overhaul traction and rolling stock components to the designated maintenance exam standard Carry out cleaning and labouring duties for all areas of the workshop and vehicles Operate fuel line and depot equipment Drive and operate cranes and road vehicles if a valid license is held Ensure all work is carried out to defined quality and safety standards Assist with special projects and additional tasks specified by depot management Key Responsibilities Previous mechanical or engineering background would be desirable. A NVQ in a related mechanical, electrical or engineer discipline would be desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work all shifts and be flexible.
