In this key role, you'll lead Military Airworthiness Reviews in accordance with MAA regulations, helping to ensure platform safety and compliance. While primarily based at Yeovilton, you may also provide support at other military sites as required. As a Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP), your insight and leadership will directly contribute to operational readiness and airworthiness assurance. Duties:- Lead independent Military Airworthiness Reviews (MARs) and compile formal findings reports Identify and escalate airworthiness concerns via Defence Aviation Safety Occurrence Reports (DASORs), Quality Occurrence Reports (QORs), Narrative Fault Findings (MF760), and Unsatisfactory Feature Reports (MF765) Review and analyse MAR findings to support the Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO) and Technical Data Exploitation (TDE), contributing to data-driven airworthiness and maintenance decisions Prepare and present trend analysis reports for: Continuous Airworthiness Management Meetings (CAMMs) Data Exploitation and Trending Working Group (DETWG) Air Safety Boards (ASBs) for each platform Act as a Suitably qualified and experienced lead within the department, providing continuity and mentoring less-experienced Military airworthiness review employees and new joiners Ensure regulatory compliance and best practice by: Delivering contracted tasks in line with customer policies, MAA regulations, and statutory requirements Capturing and communicating findings from engineering, safety, and near-miss events using relevant reporting tools (e.g. DASOR, Assure) Monitoring hazards and managing associated risks Respond promptly to customer feedback and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where needed. Support a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all personnel under your remit comply with health and safety regulation, the client Management System, applicable customer regulations, environmental procedures and equal opportunities policy Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and complete further training necessary for your role What you ll need: Must have quite a few years experience in military or aviation industry airworthiness environment, with experience at a senior supervisory level or above. A Service Certificate of Competency (CoC) or equivalent or the ability to obtain one. Proven supervisory experience and strong working knowledge of: Military aircraft engineering and systems (rotary and fixed wing) Aircraft servicing procedures and ground support equipment Naval Air Publications and Compound Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (CIETP) Project planning, Lean methodologies, and tool control best practices Health and Safety legislation, including COSHH regulations Engineering and asset management systems (e.g. GOLDesp) Certification in: Maintenance Human Factors Course GoldEsp (Senior Supervisor level or above) Aircraft Custodian Course (completed or able to complete) Baines Simmons Continuous Airworthiness Management Course (completed or able to complete) Strong knowledge of MAA and Maintenance Approved Organisation Scheme (MAOS) regulatory frameworks and legislative compliance. MPI have a requirement for a permanent Technical Services Manager to work on site at Stansted. Rate of pay will be discussed on application. Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00. JOB PURPOSE: Manage the Technical Services Department team to ensure the department deliverables are compliant with Part 145 regulations, company s MOE and related procedures. The goal is to ensure that documentation is produced on-time, to the highest quality standard, allowing for a safe and efficient execution by engineers and meeting Part CAMO airworthiness requirements. ACCOUNTABILITY: Accountable for the delivery of on-time and quality work packages for Engineering department as well as on-time and quality release documentation for Part CAMO Customers. Accountable for the on-time and accurate requisition of material for the Purchasing and Stores departments. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ensure our client delivers the very highest level of response on a consistent basis, to its demanding customer base. Manage the Technical Services Department with respect to human resources and office equipment. Supervise the work of Technical Services team and is responsible to ensure that procedures and instructions for Technical Services department are established and kept updated. Distribute projects among TSEs to achieve adequate workload distribution and continuity. Responsible to secure that the IPR procedure is carried out correctly and on a systematic basis. Responsible for securing the review and update of technical publications and MTL when revisions received from OEM. Responsible to identify, monitor and carry out continuous improvement projects to improve quality, delay and cost of operation and in accordance with company s objectives. Evaluate the assigned staff performance and provide feedback to the General Manager. Supervise the administration of the part 145 Work Report and technical records keeping. Attend the Manpower Plan Review Meeting as TSE when required. Compliance with company Procedures and in particular - Health, Technical, Quality and Safety policies. Ensuring compliance with the company Safety system in respect of actively advocating, promoting & implementing safety policy Identification, assessment and resolution of risks & hazards, ensuring operational safety in the workplace, implementing corrective & safety actions within required timescales, ensuring staff remain actively aware & comply with requirements of the company safety system. Actively participate in company management & safety forums. Additional tasks as required by his superior. MPI have a requirement for a Log Book Officer with GOLDEsp to work in the HARVEST CELL on site in Gosport. Duration minimum 6 months rolling contract. Basic 37hrs per week, however we have been advised by the Customer that there are up to 50 hours available (including weekends) (overtime is subject to change). This role is deemed OUT of SCOPE of IR35. Rates are to be discussed on application. Purpose of the role: Responsible for maintaining and compiling MF700 documentation. Also responsible for maintaining and compiling data as a maintenance scheduling/forecasting and reporting package using GOLDesp. Key responsibilities and duties: •Will effectively carry out a variety of Log Book Office activities in support of production, using authorised procedures and systems. •Maintain and compile MF700 documentation ensuring completeness, traceability and accuracy. •Create a project call-up package utilising GOLDesp, Contracts of Work and Statements of Work. •Maintain and compile data as a maintenance scheduling/forecasting and reporting package using GOLDesp. •Transfer completed work information from Navixa documentation into the MF700, aircraft log cards and maintenance work orders. •Transfer completed work information from Navixa documentation to GOLDesp. •Carryout SSI reporting on GOLDesp. •Carry out all MF700 documentation for Flight Test live aircraft . •Carry out Log Book Office administration tasks. •Update IT system data and records, such as Navixa and GOLDesp. •Supply detailed information to customers and support customer meetings. •Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities. The successful candidates will be responsible to the Aircraft Training Manager for classroom and practical instruction on a topic within the aircraft discipline and various allied subjects. Ancillary duties include lesson preparation and the production of training support material. Responsibilities: Comprise the control and supervision of students including the application of Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential and will consider applicants with a good airframe/propulsion/mechanical/technician background with a view to training them to be trainers. Main duties and responsibilities: Identify training needs, develop training materials and manage the delivery of required training courses. Continuously monitor and review the progress of trainees, ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
