The salary on offer starts at £70,648.00 to £81,256.00 per annum and is based on experience. We are now seeking to appoint an experienced licensed engineer for our Maintenance Organisation team to take on the role of B1 Base Certifying Engineer. Reporting to the Maintenance Support Manager the role is responsible for the satisfactory completion and certification of all work packages/packs assigned by the work specification (Maintenance Contract/Work Order and approved MOE procedures). Essential Skills & Experience: Supervision of non-licensed personnel. Removal or installation of aircraft components as required. Support with mechanical or electrical removals and installations as needed. Certifying B1 Base/Modification work completed on our Beech 200 and 300 aircraft For ensuring that Maintenance Organisation procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance. For understanding the documentation, including ADs and SBs and other linked data required to certify tasks. Recording and notifying of any inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous procedure, practice, information or maintenance instruction contained in the maintenance data used by maintenance personnel to the Head of Maintenance. Providing feedback to the Head of Maintenance on suggested improvements, efficiencies and ways to enhance the way in which we work under the MOE. Where required, oversight of junior staff members, engineers/technicians where appropriate, providing input to the appraisals of junior members of staff and day-to-day management. Supporting the development and delivery of the clients strategic plan. Actively contributing to the safety management system and general promotion of aviation safety. The Ideal Candidate will have the following: The ideal candidate for this role will have an unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence, ideally holding King Air 200 or 300 type ratings, with recent demonstrable experience on both types. MPI have a requirement for Aircraft Structural Fitters (CAT A) to work in the Depth cell on site in Gosport, Hampshire. Applicants must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship and have copies of their papers. Our Client is looking for applicants who preferably have structural helicopter experience however they will consider applicants who have recent structures experience but not worked on helicopters. You must be able to carry out:- Modification installation Rectification on structure components Structures/ Rivet/SMW Ideally Rotary experience The contract is ongoing as per customer requirements and is deemed out of scope of IR35. Basic hours 37 per week. Our Client has advised that there is 40-60 hours (including weekends) available with overtime but not guaranteed. Rate of pay will be discussed on application Applicants will require valid Human Factors/EWIS and Fuel Tank Safety certificates if selected for the role. MPI have a requirement for a Log Book Officer with GOLDEsp to work in the HARVEST CELL on site in Gosport. Duration minimum 6 months rolling contract. Basic 37hrs per week, however we have been advised by the Customer that there are up to 50 hours available (including weekends) (overtime is subject to change). This role is deemed OUT of SCOPE of IR35. Rates are to be discussed on application. Purpose of the role: Responsible for maintaining and compiling MF700 documentation. Also responsible for maintaining and compiling data as a maintenance scheduling/forecasting and reporting package using GOLDesp. Key responsibilities and duties: •Will effectively carry out a variety of Log Book Office activities in support of production, using authorised procedures and systems. •Maintain and compile MF700 documentation ensuring completeness, traceability and accuracy. •Create a project call-up package utilising GOLDesp, Contracts of Work and Statements of Work. •Maintain and compile data as a maintenance scheduling/forecasting and reporting package using GOLDesp. •Transfer completed work information from Navixa documentation into the MF700, aircraft log cards and maintenance work orders. •Transfer completed work information from Navixa documentation to GOLDesp. •Carryout SSI reporting on GOLDesp. •Carry out all MF700 documentation for Flight Test live aircraft . •Carry out Log Book Office administration tasks. •Update IT system data and records, such as Navixa and GOLDesp. •Supply detailed information to customers and support customer meetings. •Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities. Teaching experience is desirable but not essential and will consider applicants with a good airframe/propulsion/mechanical/technician background with a view to training them to be trainers. Main duties and responsibilities: Identify training needs, develop training materials and manage the delivery of required training courses. Continuously monitor and review the progress of trainees, ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
