Warehouse Operative / Driver / Goods Receiver Aberdeen Full-Time, Permanent Job Role KBM are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business that are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operative to support the efficient operation of its warehouse, machine shop, and valve shop. This role involves a mix of warehouse operations, goods receiving, stock control, and delivery driving, ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished goods are accurately received, stored, processed, and dispatched. The ideal candidate will have experience in a stores, warehouse, or workshop environment, along with a practical, mechanical mindset and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Operating a forklift to load and unload deliveries. Carrying out local pick-ups and deliveries (with occasional travel further afield when required). Receiving incoming materials and performing quality and quantity checks. Receiving, checking, marking and batching goods using inventory systems (e.g., Sage Line 200 or similar ERP). Purchasing warehouse consumables and supplies. Picking materials for customer orders. Packing goods for shipment via road, air, or sea freight. Measuring and marking components and machined parts. Supporting machine maintenance and cleaning tasks when required. Maintaining a tidy, organised, and efficient warehouse environment. Coordinating the collection of recycling materials and scrap metal. Experience & Skills Essential: Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse, stores, or workshop environment. Full, clean UK driving licence. Basic level of secondary education Good organisational skills and ability to handle paperwork and stock systems. Practical, hands-on mechanical aptitude. Forklift licence Experience using ERP or stock management systems. Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
