I am currently recruiting for an Applications Engineer for a well-established and thriving company who manufacture specialist, precision products for a wide range of industries from defence to aerospace. This is a new role which will involve working closely with Commercial and Engineering teams in order to provide estimates for the costs of projects, products and services. Duties will include: Understanding and analysing the customers specifications and drawings and discussing complete specifications with Engineering and Manufacturing departments Lead complex quote process' Researching the prices of components required Calculating the final budget for the project or product Tracking costs and keeping the customer and suppliers informed of costs and progress Consolidating specifications and recommending configurations Requirements A degree in an engineering subject is essential and whilst some relevant experience in a mechanical component engineering environment is preferred, consideration will be given to recent graduates. Due to an increase in orders and company growth, I am currently looking to recruit a number of permanent Machine Operators for a specialist manufacturer near Stafford. Duties Operate machinery as per the Standard Operating procedures. Ensure hourly performance is monitored and recorded. Identify and correct product quality issues. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Complete cleaning tasks as per standard operating procedures. Record production data that ensures full product traceability. The ideal requirements are Educated to GCSE level Minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial environment. This role is working a rota of 4 days in Week 1, Mon-Thu 6.45am to 7pm followed by 3 nights in Week 2, Mon - Wed 6.45pm to 7am The company offer excellent working conditions and employee welfare benefits.
