What's the role? As part of our Goods in and Stores Operative teams , your main duties will include the safe offloading / loading of vehicles and reporting/recording any damages while ensuring our warehouse is in a safe and tidy state.You will be using forklift trucks and overhead cranes, compiling contractual fabrication parts for shop floor and reporting of any damage. You will be responsible for distributing parts around the site as required. Key Responsibilities : Offloading / loading of vehicles as required using forklift trucks and overhead cranes. Opening fabrication cases / pallets and unwrapping parts and assembling on plastic pallets. Taking parts as requested into production-related areas. Booking in parts and scanning delivery notes after booking. Supporting & delivering parts to the shop & service department. Raising Near misses and Safety Improvement opportunities and ensuring health and safety remains a focus for all activities. Always Maintaining good standards of hygiene and housekeeping around all store's areas. Working as part of the Stores team and carrying out other general stores' duties as and when required, including stock take activities. About The Role Job Summary: Due to our continued company growth, we are looking for Electrical fitters to join our Power Solutions division. Directed by the site manager / team leader, you will deliver electrical & mechanical works to the agreed quality, timescales & Safety.The role will be onsite within a live substation environment. Our sites are situated across the south of England , Lee-on-Solent, Southampton, Reading & Rownhams. Key Responsibilities: Work in a team, ensuring that working environment and work practices meet the requirements of the Health & Safety Legislation, conforms to the project Health & Safety Plan and meets KUS standards. Through discussion with the site team plan and execute all tasks identified in the works program. Able to decipher construction drawings to verify material lists and use their experience to plan the task in hand including assisting in producing the RAMS for the activities. Ensure the work carried out is as per the construction drawings with any changes documented and agreed before implementation. Verify and document Temporary Works are installed as per the design. Complete QA documentation for all completed works. Act upon unsafe acts or conditions when observed or when reporting to the post holder. Carry out the tasks in line with the works program, in a diligent manner, ensuring the work is done in an efficient, cost effective, and professional like manner producing work of high quality Attend training courses necessary for development of the skills needed to carry out the tasks performed by the work group and learn how to behave safely. Ensure all plant / tool inspections are carried out before use with all defects documented and reported through the correct channels. Ensure materials are used economically and unused materials are returned to stores, arrange for all scrap materials to be removed from site in a safe manner at the end of the each job. Monitor the performance of the team, record quantity of work carried out and report shortfalls outside of his/her control to Line Manager Carryout Safety Inspection as laid down in the Contract Specific Health and Safety Plan Undertake all duties as skilled, in a reliable, flexible constructive manner. Take direction from line manager in carrying out ad hoc projects. About The Role Working within the Engineering Department, the role of the Applications Engineer is to transform customer and contract requirements into engineered Switchgear solutions. Working between design and manufacturing, the role is to develop technical specifications, support contracts designers in producing accurate Bills of Materials, and ensuring high-quality electrical and mechanical drawings are provided for both production and customer use. This role combines technical expertise with problem-solving, offering the opportunity to supply tailored engineering solutions from concept through to delivery. Key Responsibilities: To determine the appropriate ratings and performance requirements from Tendering Specification and ensure the equipment being supplied complies with the customers switchgear specifications Coach and train other staff in relevant technical areas. To work closely with customers to establish the operational and performance requirements of the customers application (e.g., Current, Voltage and fault ratings, etc.) are complied with by the appropriate BRUSH equipment. To issue detailed Engineering Specifications for the Mechanical and Electrical Contract Designers, Manufacturing and Procurement department, and design complex relay protection and substation control schemes. To create and issue Purchase Order Requisitions for relays and other ancillary equipment as required to meet the requirements of the Engineering Specification, using the Company ERP system (SAGE). To liaise directly (and via BRUSH Commercial Department) with customers engineers on all technical matters relating to the specific contract. To design and produce internal software schemes where required to enable the overall scheme to function and provide technical assistance to Test Department when required. About The Role Job Summary: We are looking for a site manager to oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure projects . The site manager will be responsible for ensuring that all HV construction works are executed safely, on schedule with programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires deep knowledge of high voltage systems (typically 11kV to 132kV), strong leadership skills, and strict adherence to industry safety and regulatory standards.Location - Sites located across the South of England - travel will be required to various locations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Liaising with all stakeholders to manage all construction activities, including progressing of programmes, risk assessments and method statements. Holding Competent Person status (CP) administering the Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and ensuring safety process are upheld onsite Liaising with all Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase. Receiving, managing and issuing drawings for construction at site level, checking construction meets the requirements of design. Working with the team members to ensure delivery on site is done safely, efficiently and is compliant. Monitor site progress, manage schedules, and mitigate any potential risks or delays. Managing sub-contractor onsite activities. Managing internal direct reports for Construction team. Providing input into design reviews as and when required. Plan in advance, provision of all documentation, resources, tools, materials, consumables H&S equipment and transport, to ensure safe and efficient construction. Demonstrate this planning by providing a 1-week and 4-week lookahead. Managing and co-ordinating site Acceptance Testing as required. Managing the delivery of all 'As-Built' documentation throughout the onsite construction & commissioning phases. Conduct weekly project site reports and updates Completing site audits and inspections when required, ensuring the highest standard of quality is maintained.
