What's the role? Due to our continued company growth, we are now looking for an experienced payroll administrator to support our Payroll Officer with all end-to-end payroll and associated processes across the BRUSH Group. The ideal candidate will work to high accuracy levels while ensuring strict deadlines are met, in accordance with best practice, legislation and operating procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to join our business during a susbstantial growth period. Working conditions - The role will be based from our Loughborough head office on a hybrid working model (typically 3 office days, 2 home days per week) between the hours of 8am-4.30pm Monday - Thursday and a 1pm finish on a Friday. 37 contractual hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Process multiple monthly payrolls across the Group Resolve issues and answer payroll related questions Manage Payroll email inbox ensuring timely and professional responses. Support taxable benefits through P11d and tax at source processes Work in partnership with Finance to obtain monthly payroll sign off Process pension payments on a monthly basis Manage the auto enrolment process Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, data requirements and Company Policies Provide support for internal and external audits Deliver effective communications across the business on payroll processes and requirements Identify and implement improvements in the payroll process to increase accuracy and efficiency. This role covers elements of direct, and indirect taxes, tax reporting, and transfer pricing, while supporting tax governance, transactions, and business initiatives. The position partners with internal stakeholders and external advisors to assist with managing tax risk, responding to legislative change, and managing the group's tax position. About The Role Working within the Engineering Department, the role of the Applications Engineer is to transform customer and contract requirements into engineered Switchgear solutions. Working between design and manufacturing, the role is to develop technical specifications, support contracts designers in producing accurate Bills of Materials, and ensuring high-quality electrical and mechanical drawings are provided for both production and customer use. This role combines technical expertise with problem-solving, offering the opportunity to supply tailored engineering solutions from concept through to delivery. Key Responsibilities: To determine the appropriate ratings and performance requirements from Tendering Specification and ensure the equipment being supplied complies with the customers switchgear specifications Coach and train other staff in relevant technical areas. To work closely with customers to establish the operational and performance requirements of the customers application (e.g., Current, Voltage and fault ratings, etc.) are complied with by the appropriate BRUSH equipment. To issue detailed Engineering Specifications for the Mechanical and Electrical Contract Designers, Manufacturing and Procurement department, and design complex relay protection and substation control schemes. To create and issue Purchase Order Requisitions for relays and other ancillary equipment as required to meet the requirements of the Engineering Specification, using the Company ERP system (SAGE). To liaise directly (and via BRUSH Commercial Department) with customers engineers on all technical matters relating to the specific contract. To design and produce internal software schemes where required to enable the overall scheme to function and provide technical assistance to Test Department when required. Assist with manufacturing and quality investigations (Non-Conformance Reports). Assist manufacturing with Continuous Improvement implementation. Support the implementation of RoadMap projects. Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills: Qualifications Qualified to HNC level in an Electrical Engineering Discipline Skills Ability to work under own initiative creating project plans, milestones and deliver on time in full. About The Role Job Summary: We are looking for a site manager to oversee and coordinate all on-site activities related to High Voltage (HV) electrical infrastructure projects . The site manager will be responsible for ensuring that all HV construction works are executed safely, on schedule with programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires deep knowledge of high voltage systems (typically 11kV to 132kV), strong leadership skills, and strict adherence to industry safety and regulatory standards.Location - Sites located across the South of England - travel will be required to various locations as needed. Key Responsibilities: Liaising with all stakeholders to manage all construction activities, including progressing of programmes, risk assessments and method statements. Holding Competent Person status (CP) administering the Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and ensuring safety process are upheld onsite Liaising with all Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase. Receiving, managing and issuing drawings for construction at site level, checking construction meets the requirements of design. Working with the team members to ensure delivery on site is done safely, efficiently and is compliant. Monitor site progress, manage schedules, and mitigate any potential risks or delays. Managing sub-contractor onsite activities. Managing internal direct reports for Construction team. Providing input into design reviews as and when required. Plan in advance, provision of all documentation, resources, tools, materials, consumables H&S equipment and transport, to ensure safe and efficient construction. Demonstrate this planning by providing a 1-week and 4-week lookahead. Managing and co-ordinating site Acceptance Testing as required. Managing the delivery of all 'As-Built' documentation throughout the onsite construction & commissioning phases. Conduct weekly project site reports and updates Completing site audits and inspections when required, ensuring the highest standard of quality is maintained. Qualifications: City and Guilds in Electrical engineering or a related field or relevant knowledge and experience in a similar role SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Previous DNO authorisation to take and receive permits. We require our operatives and site managers to have authorisation to be able to both access the sites and provide access to clients, subcontractors etc Experience: Extensive experience of working in a Live Open Busbar compound Indirectly leading and influencing people/teams from other functions Working to tight deadlines Practical experience of supervising work within a CDM environment. Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commercial awareness is essential Mathematical skills and the ability to apply them to solve problems. Leadership and managerial skills.
