This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Accountant / Client Manager who is looking for something a little different. If you're passionate about sport and enjoy building long-term relationships with clients, this role offers the chance to work with a portfolio almost exclusively within the sporting world while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position. The Role You'll take ownership of your own portfolio of clients, becoming their trusted adviser and managing their accounting and tax affairs from start to finish. The position is heavily relationship-focused, giving you the opportunity to provide proactive advice while ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service. Around 90% of your client portfolio will be within the sports sector , making this an exciting opportunity for someone who genuinely understands and shares a passion for sport. Responsibilities Managing your own portfolio of clients. Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts. Managing personal and corporate tax matters. Providing proactive advice and support to clients. About You We're looking for someone who is: ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 2-3 years' post-qualified experience . Experienced in managing a portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice. Strong technically across both accounts and tax . An excellent communicator who enjoys developing client relationships. Highly organised and able to manage their workload independently. Comfortable working remotely with a professional home office setup. A Genuine Passion for Sport This is an essential part of the role. Our client works almost exclusively with individuals and organisations across the sporting industry, so we're looking for someone who has a genuine sporting background or deep involvement in sport. This could be through competing, coaching, officiating, working within a sporting organisation or a long-standing involvement in a particular sport. A casual interest alone is unlikely to be enough.
