We are seeking skilled and reliable MIG Mild Steel Welders to join our prestigious client in Newton Aycliffe. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mild steel, reading fabrication drawings, and delivering high-quality welded assemblies. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Hours: - Minimum 4 day week. Mon - Thurs: 07.00 - 17.30 (40hrs per week) with potential overtime on Friday. Pay: From £13.50 per hour This is a temporary role. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform MIG welding on mild steel components to produce strong, clean, and accurate welds. Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to determine specifications and materials required. Set up welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed, and shielding gas settings. Carry out grinding, fettling, or minor fabrication as needed to complete parts. Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work area and tools. Report any defects, equipment faults, or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly. Key Skills / Experience : Proven experience as a MIG Welder, ideally in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Welding 3mm 5mm sheet plate, and section. Confident in the use of hand tools. Can work in a team, or individually. Can work to CAD drawings (to a tolerance of 1mm). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Basic fabrication skills including grinding, tacking, and assembly. Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices. Experience using welding tools, jigs, and measuring instruments (verniers, tape measures). Forklift or overhead crane licence (advantageous, not required).

About the role As part of our clients ongoing growth, we re seeking a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join their creative team. In this role, you ll play a key part in producing distinctive, engaging artwork across both print and digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Design, you ll collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams, taking projects from concept through to completion. You ll ensure every piece of work meets a high standard and aligns with the brands objectives. Key Responsibilities • Design and produce creative assets for both print and digital use including packaging, POS materials, brochures, exhibition displays, product labels, logos, and web content. • Support day-to-day design needs, such as marketing materials, social media graphics, label printing, product artworking, and preparing files for print. • Work confidently within brand guidelines while contributing innovative ideas and creative design solutions. • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to interpret briefs and deliver effective, high-quality designs. • Assist with 3D product visualisations training will be provided if needed. About You • Experienced in a graphic design role, with a strong, varied portfolio demonstrating creativity across print and digital media. • Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects, working on PC. • Knowledge of Blender 3D is advantageous, though not essential training will be provided. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues. • Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. • A proactive, collaborative team player who can also work independently when required.
