Stock Condition Surveyor Location: Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Bedfordshire Rate/Salary: £35-£38 Ltd umbrella per hour Contract Type: Interim / Permanent (adjust as required) About the Role: Our client, a leading housing association, is seeking two experienced Stock Condition Surveyors to join their property services team for 6-9 months to assist them in completing a backlog of stock condition surveys. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional surveyor to play a key role in ensuring the organisation s housing stock is safe, compliant and well-maintained. Appointments will be made by the scheduling team on behalf of the surveyors. Key Responsibilities: Carry out stock condition surveys across a diverse housing portfolio. Complete HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) assessments to identify hazards and ensure homes meet current housing standards. Record and update condition data accurately using handheld devices or surveying software. Provide technical advice and recommendations on repair, investment and improvement works. Liaise with residents and contractors in a professional and customer-focused manner. Experience and Skills Required: Previous experience conducting stock condition surveys and HHSRS assessments within the social housing sector. Strong knowledge of building pathology, maintenance, and housing standards. Proficient in using surveying software and mobile data collection tools. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
