Do you have CNC experience? Are you familiar with turning? If so, we have a permanent position for an experienced CNC machinist to join a long-standing engineering firm in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Salary of 30,000+ on a shorter, 37.5-hour week.
Overtime paid at increased rate of pay.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00, Friday: 07:30 - 13:30 (early finish)
A long-standing manufacturer in Ipswich is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a stable, long-term position, ideal for someone looking to settle and grow within the company.
You'll be programming and operating HAAS Lathes, producing precision components to tight tolerances.
CNC Machinist Duties:
- Running CNC lathes (HAAS)
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Producing parts from mild steel and aluminium
- Ensuring accuracy and quality in all machining tasks
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, Turner or Programmer
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
