Procurement Specialist

Location: Office based, Alva, Clackmannanshire - FK12 5DQ
Salary: £28,119-£32,000 per annum, DOE plus benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am 2.30pm

We are looking for a motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team to source and purchase materials, equipment and services that ensure we deliver high-quality products to our customers.

What you ll be doing:

Your day-to-day will be dynamic, purposeful and full of opportunities to grow. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing company purchase requests and understanding requirements
• Processing purchase orders in ERP system
• Supporting the negotiation of contracts, tracking and follow up on execution
• Supporting the screening, validation and selection of vendors
• Supplier management, performance review and resolving issues
• Ownership of procurement documentation in QMS
• Identify and highlight potential issues in processes, whilst continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.

What you bring:

We re looking for someone who s not just experienced - but driven, detail-oriented and ready to make a difference.

• Minimum three years experience in similar role
• Proven success in negotiating contracts and supplier management
• Strong organisational and administrative skills including Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge and experience of ERP systems
• The ideal candidate will have experience in medical devices, pharma or a similarly regulated industry e.g., food
• Clear, confident communicator - written and verbal
• High attention to detail with a methodical mindset
• Ability to meet deadlines, agile with priorities
• Self-motivated and collaborative.
