HGV Mechanic

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Greater Manchester area looking for a workshop based role?

Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, day shift role, 8am 5:30pm

Hours: 45 per week. Salary up to £44,000p/a, pension, sick pay, holidays etc, free, secure on-site parking.

The role of the HGV Technician:

You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, including gritters, RCV s Refuge vehicles, Diesel and EV vehicles.

The type of work as an HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Requirements for this HGV Technician position:

• Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
• Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
