KS3 Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated KS3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive SEN school. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with special educational needs (SEN) across Key Stage 3, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
You ll work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning activities, provide one-to-one and small group support, and promote a positive, nurturing environment where every student can achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support the learning and development of KS3 pupils with SEN.
Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver engaging lessons.
Provide individualised support to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning attitudes in students.
About You
To be successful as a KS3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Have previous experience supporting children or young people, ideally in an SEN or school environment.
Be patient, caring, and committed to making a difference.
Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Hold or be willing to apply for a valid DBS on the update service.
