Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Sector Capital Delivery FrameworkLocation: DerbySalary: £60,000 - £70,000 + car allowance & packageAre you ready to take the next step in your career? We're supporting a leading main contractor in the water sector who are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major long-term capital delivery framework.The RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of complex, high value projects within the a busy, high value framework. You'll work closely with project teams and senior management to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and robust contract management. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing subcontract management from procurement through to final account.
• Preparing valuations, forecasts, and detailed cost reports.
• Managing risk and ensuring compliance with NEC contracts.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team.
• Building strong relationships with client representatives and supply chain partners.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of commercial processes and procedures.

About YouWe're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Senior QS or an established QS ready to step up.
• Strong background in the contracting environment, ideally within civil engineering, utilities, or water sector projects.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial risk management.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
