We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work across multiple schools in South Bristol, supporting children with additional needs. These roles involve working 1:1 or in small groups with students who may have a variety of needs, including Speech and Language Difficulties, ADHD, ASC, or SEMH challenges. Previous experience working in schools or with children in a care or support capacity is desirable, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to build positive relationships with young learners, your adaptability, and your genuine interest in helping children reach their potential.
Main Responsibilities:
Supporting students both 1:1 and in small groups by making the curriculum accessible and fun.
Build positive relationships with pupils to boost confidence, engagement, and wellbeing.
Support children in class, helping them access learning alongside their peers.
Deliver tailored interventions and small group activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
Help implement strategies to support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Provide personal care support if required.

Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting children s learning
Available to work Monday to Friday, 8 30 (term-time only)
Right to work in the UK we are unable to offer sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas
Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years)
Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one
If you don t have a DBS on the Update Service, we can help you process a new one for £62.70 fully refundable after 20 days of work.
