About the Role

• Lead and manage the Fostering & Permanence Team to provide a high-quality, comprehensive, and effective service.
• Prepare for inspections and ensure the team maintains high standards of practice.
• Influence developments in social work practice and provide professional leadership.
• Facilitate collaboration within a multi-agency context.
• Act as a specialist advisor on Fostering and Permanence for Looked After Children.
• Contribute to the development of relevant policy and services.
• Utilise and translate statutory, community, voluntary, and independent resources to enhance best practice.
• Deliver high service standards across the borough, in line with the 'Camden Model of Social Work'.
• Work under outstanding leadership and management within a professionally fertile environment.
• Engage with children and families to achieve the best possible outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with the commitment, drive, and ability to deliver high service standards across the borough. You will have a proven track record of leadership in a fostering or permanence setting, an in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and policy, and a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
