Job Description

Talent STEM is supporting a well-established organisation in Kent to recruit a Manufacturing Technician. This is a permanent, full-time role offering the opportunity to work in a modern, regulated manufacturing environment, supporting the production of high-quality products across a technical sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out daily manufacturing activities within a controlled production environment

- Operate, monitor, and maintain process equipment in line with SOPs

- Complete accurate production records, ensuring compliance with documentation standards

- Report and support resolution of process deviations and equipment issues

- Assist with planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement projects

- Work closely with quality teams to maintain operational standards

- Manage incoming materials and maintain stock levels

Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment

- Contribute to initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

- Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills

- Ability to follow structured processes in a regulated environment

- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials

- Flexibility to work a shift rota (including weekends)

Desirable:

- Previous experience in manufacturing, production or technical operations

- Familiarity with quality or compliance standards (ISO, GMP, or similar)
