Import Operator - Ocean Freight

A great opportunity now exists in the Birmingham area for an experienced Ocean Import professional to join a growing and dynamic team

We are working with great Freight Forwarding company in the Birmingham area who through their growth are now seeking an experienced import professional to work in the ocean freight team.

Job Role:

Receipt of bookings by phone and email
Negotiate delivery rates with lines/hauliers
Preparation of necessary documentation
Entering customs entries
Providing excellent customer service at all times

The Candidate

1 to 3 years ocean import experience
Knowledge or or willingness to learn ocean exports
Self-motivated and ambitious
Ability to work from your own initiative
