Job Title: Temporary Forklift Driver (Counterbalance)

Location: Sunderland

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate: £13.34 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Temporary Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance) to join our team in Sunderland. Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock and materials, ensuring operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles
• Moving, stacking, and arranging pallets within the warehouse
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out processes
• Assisting with pallet wrapping and general warehouse duties when required
• Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence (in-date certificate)
• Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
• Strong awareness of health & safety practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
