Midweight-Senior Fullstack Developer (Lovey App Squad)

Location: Remote with occasional travel to Birmingham (UK-based) Team: Love Finance - Lovey App Squad

Salary: £75,000 to £80,000 per annum plus annual bonus

At Love Finance, we're building products that make money simple, accessible, and stress-free. Our newest product, the Lovey App, is designed to be the "Bank of Mum and Dad" - helping families manage, share, and support each other financially in smarter ways.

The Lovey App Squad is the team bringing this vision to life on iOS and Android. That's where you come in.

We're looking for two Midweight-Senior Fullstack Developers to help us push the app forward. You'll be part of a small, focused squad where your work will directly shape the experience people have with Lovey every day.

The squad

You'll be working closely with:

• A Lead Engineer
• A Product Owner
• A Product Designer and two new Midweight-Senior Engineers (hopefully one of them is you).

It's a lean, cross-functional setup where everyone owns their work and has the freedom to make a difference.

What you will do as Midweight-Senior Full Stack Developer

• Building and improving features across the Lovey iOS and Android app.
• Working with Flutter to deliver a seamless cross-platform experience.
• Bringing any native iOS/Android knowledge to push the app even further.
• Contributing to backend services with Node.js and Python when needed.
• Deploying and running services on Google Cloud Platform.
• Keeping things collaborative and tidy with Git.
• Using Linear to keep tickets simple and the workflow clear.
• Working lean - just enough process to stay on track, never enough to slow us down.
• Owning your work, with the autonomy to deliver without micromanagement.

Requirements

What we're looking for from the Midweight-Senior Full Stack Developer

• 3-5 years' experience as a fullstack developer.
• Strong skills in Flutter with experience shipping iOS and Android apps.
• Bonus: hands-on experience with native iOS/Android development.
• Solid grounding in Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Comfort with Git and modern workflows.
• Someone who thrives in a lean environment - structured enough to deliver reliably, autonomous enough to move fast.
