Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our team in the plastic manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing extrusion tooling.
Duties:
- Fully trained and competent in using XYZ milling machines, lathes, spark eroder and precision surface grinder.
- Competent in reading, understanding and converting simple - complex tool drawings into final production tool.
- Required to use 2d autocad for the design of simple - complex tools.
- Ability to build tools from start to finish inc. tooling development/ tuning.
- Able to program and operate EDM wire eroders.
