Mot Tester

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team in Totton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with power and hand tools.

Monday - Friday 08.30 - 17.30 Saturday as overtime on a rota

Mot tester Salary is £39000 plus bonus giving an ote in excess of £42,000

21 days personal holiday plus all bank holidays

You must hold a full Uk driving licence and have tools

Duties

• Conduct MOT tests ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Identify and diagnose vehicle faults, providing accurate reports
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding test results and any required repairs.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in legislation and testing procedures to ensure compliance.

Experience

• Proven mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing vehicle issues
• Previous experience as an MOT Tester with a live Mot certificate
