Class 1 Driver

Rapier Employment are on the lookout for a Class 1 Driver for our well-known client in Witney. Potential for temp to perm. Assessment and induction available. Must have at least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience, along with no more than 9 points on your licence. Job role: Class 1 driverPay rate: £17.00 per hour basic - £24.00 per hour overtime after 50 hoursShift start: Start times typically 04:00 - 05:00Days: Monday to FridayThis is a trunking position for the first 8-12 weeks which will then move to a tramping role. Possibility for tramping to start straight away. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, record information internally and report any defects
• Ensuring the load is fully strapped down ready to be delivered
• Delivering the product to customer sites ensuring delivery instructions are followed
• Hauling palletised flat-packed goods to various locations across the UK

Requirements:

• Full UK licence (Cat C+E)
• CPC Card
• Digi Card
• 12 months Class 1 experience
• No more than 9 points on your licence
• Tramping Monday to Friday
