CNC Turner/Programmer

Straight-Line is currently hiring a CNC Turner/Programmer in Gloucester.

This is a permanent position joining an established precision engineering team. You will be working on Fanuc Controls - Doosan, Live Tooling, Small Batch Work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, setting, and operating Doosan CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Working with live tooling for small batch, high-accuracy components.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure tight tolerances.
• Involved in the full process: from programming through to final inspection.
• Working to deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Person Specification:

• Strong experience in CNC turning and programming using Fanuc controls.
• Confident with Doosan machines and live tooling operations.
• Able to produce small batch, one-off and prototype components
