Salary: £16.79 per hour, overtime £25.19 per hour after 208 hours worked per month

Contract type: Full-time

Hours: 10-12 hours, 9 hours guaranteed pay

Start time: between 05:00AM 07:00AM

Shift Duration: 4 on 2off, 4 on 2 off, 5 on 2 off weekends included and compulsory

Number of drops: between 13-17 drops per day, Doncaster and surrounding areas

We re hiring HGV Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our client busy delivery team!

FTS Recruitment are looking for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for our customer based in Doncaster, DN3. This is an excellent opportunity to join our professional transport team.

You ll be delivering home furniture safely and on time to customers, ensuring care and professionalism.

What You ll Do

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver home furniture across Doncaster and surrounding areas.
• Working as a 2 man crew, some installations are required and rubbish removal
• Load/unload furniture safely always assisted by a drivers mate
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults
• Follow all driving law, company procedures and health and safety regulations

Skills and Requirements

• Valid UK category C (Class 2) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum age of 21
• Must not exceed maximum 6 points on your driving licence (no TT, DD, CD, IN10, MS50, UT50 or DR1)
• Must be able to work weekends as part of the compulsory rota
• Good knowledge of UK roads and regulations
• Reliable, professional, punctual and safety-conscious
• Strong communications skills for customer interaction
• Preferred 6 months Class 2 experience but new qualifiers welcomed
• Own transport to get to site
