Job Title - Domiciliary Carer
Location: Newport & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Full time/ Part time/ Flexible shifts
Pay Rates: £13-£13-50 per hour
Join our growing team at Home Instead Newport as a Domiciliary Carer, supporting adults and older people to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.
Whether you're an experienced carer or just starting out, we offer full training and ongoing support to help you thrive.
Your Role as a Domiciliary Carer -You'll visit clients in their own homes, providing the care and companionship they need to maintain their independence. Your duties may include:
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care and mobility
- Supporting medication routines
- Preparing meals and helping with light housework
- Running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions

What You'll Need

Essential Requirements
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - you'll be travelling between client visits
- The right to work in the UK
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Good spoken and written English skills for communicating with clients and documenting visits
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
