Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG (141) welding on aluminium and stainless steel, including armoured fabrications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds to BS EN ISO 17673:2016 standards.
- Work with the production team to meet project targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Continue internal and external training to maintain qualification to BS EN ISO 9606.
- Proven experience with TIG (141) welding aluminium and/or stainless steel.
- Knowledge of BS EN ISO 9606 welder qualifications.
- Experience working to certified or highly regulated standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances.
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or similar industries.
- Understanding of welding quality standards (BS EN ISO 3834-2, BS EN (phone number removed), DIN 2303 Q2).
- Previous coding to ISO 9606-1/2 (or equivalent such as ASME IX, AWS D17.1).
- NVQ/City & Guilds in welding, fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject.
- CSWIP 3.0 or PCN (VT) Level 1.
