Lab Technician

Our client, a pioneering developer of next-generation battery technology, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the advancement of lithium-sulphur batteries, an innovative, high-energy-density solution shaping the future of energy storage.

The Lab Technician will:

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Synthesize and test battery materials with attention to quality control.
• Design and execute experimental procedures including optimisation tasks.
• Record, analyse, and present findings to internal stakeholders.
• Manage laboratory consumables, supplies, and stock levels.
• Follow and improve standard operating procedures to ensure safe lab practices.

The Lab Technician will have:

• Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a scientific laboratory setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
• Curiosity and motivation to develop a broad range of technical skills.
