3 Man Finishing Gang

Our client is a leading Civil Engineering, Groundworks, and Specialist Drainage contractor who is expanding its team and looking for skilled Groundworkers to support a range of projects across the North West.

The Role:
We are seeking 3 experienced operatives within a 3 man gang for an on going project based in Wigan. We require 1 machine operative along with 2 groundworkers to complete internal and external finishing works on a Civils project for a Multi Story Car Park.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Laying kerbs, edgings, channels, and bollards.

• Installing paving (block paving, slabs, and tactile paving).

• Preparing and laying sub-bases and final surfacing for roads, footpaths, and parking bays.

• Finishing concrete works (paths, ramps, steps, and hardstandings).

• Installing street furniture (barriers, planters, cycle stands, seating).

• Minor landscaping (topsoiling, seeding, turfing).

• Assisting with white-lining preparation and drainage finishing.

• Final snagging, tidying, and ensuring all external works meet specification.

What We re Looking For:

• CPCS/NPORS CSCS compliant for machine operative (excavator, roller, dumper, 360 operative)

• Valid CSCS/NPORS CSCS for groundwork operatives

• Experience in Civils groundworks

• Strong general groundworks knowledge
