Red Recruitment 24:7 are currently seeking an Farm Worker to work at our Client's farm in DN15. This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional company and undertake a great, exciting role.
Typical duties:
- Maintaining optimum environmental conditions to ensure animal welfare and biosecurity practices are maintained
- Ensuring site maintenance and general standards are met and completed
- Supervising staff and third parties whilst on site, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety procedures
- Complying with legislative and assurance scheme standards
- Maintaining accurate records as stipulated (goods and services received, generator, alarm logs, crop records, medication register, accident book etc.)
- Operating the farm within effective cost management parameters
- Ensuring that high standards of animal welfare, hygiene and husbandry practice are maintained
- Working on other farm sites, as and when needed
About you:
- Previous farming experience
- Previous management experience
- Able to work flexible hours when necessary
- Must be able to reliably travel between Farms
