Transport Yard Operative - Days Temp to Perm Immediate Start Location: Milton Keynes Hours: 09:00 - 21:00 Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off Pay Rate: £14.86 per hour Contract Type: Ongoing with Temp to Perm potentialAbout the Role:We're hiring Transport Yard Operatives for a company in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on, active role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in transport or driving.You'll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly-moving vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring everything is ready for the road.A UK DRIVING LICENSE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE. A HGV LICENSE IS NOT REQUIRED.Key Responsibilities:

• • Move vehicles of various types around the yard
  • Offload empty trays from vehicles
  • Wash and refuel vehicles
  • Conduct basic vehicle checks
  • Maintain a clean and organised yard environment

What We're Looking For:

• Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
• Previous driving or vehicle handling experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with walking and manual tasks
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Excellent communicator
• Works well within a team.
