Logistics Manager Shildon Are you ready to take ownership of a busy logistics operation and lead a team to deliver real results?This growing manufacturing business is investing heavily in its UK sites, and right now they're looking for a strong Logistics Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, keep production moving, and ensure customers get their orders on time.This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have full responsibility for a team of operatives, while driving continuous improvement across stock accuracy, picking, dispatch and distribution.

• Leading and motivating a warehouse team to deliver against productivity and quality targets
• Overseeing goods-in, stock control, production feeds and outbound dispatches
• Developing and refining picking and handling processes, with a long-term view on automation
• Maintaining accurate data and inventory records within ERP/MRP systems
• Running stock takes, cyclic checks and investigating anomalies
• Implementing lean sigma practices to reduce waste and boost efficiency
• Ensuring compliance across COSHH, risk assessments and warehouse H&S standards

• Proven leadership in a warehouse/logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, lot/location control and ERP/MRP systems
• Experience applying lean sigma/continuous improvement principles
• A confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills
