Hgv Class 2 Driver

Job Description:

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Typically 9 hours working across Monday-Sunday, start time is usually 7:30am but sometimes is as early as 5am (anything over 9 hours is time and a half)

Pay Rate: 16.50 per hour PAYE

Location: Warrington, WA2

Job Type: Temporary/Ad-Hoc

The role:

• Driving the removal vehicle.
• Securely removing/transporting furniture to and from office or commercial businesses to new location.
• Assisting colleagues to safely unload/load the vehicle.
• Dismantling and reassembling furniture when needed.
• Conducting vehicle checks.
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience operating Class 2.
• Manually unloading truck.
• Have a valid and in date DCPC and Digi Tacho card.
• Have no more than 6 points on licence.
• Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be hard-working, reliable and flexible.
