Met Strip Fitter

Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced MET / Strip & Fit Technician to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Bishops Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality repair work and enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs, as well as vehicle strip and refit, to manufacturer and insurer standards.
• Diagnose and repair faults using the latest equipment and technology.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Work closely with the bodyshop team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience as a MET Technician / Strip & Fit Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair setting.
• ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
