My client is seeking a
Business Development Manager to join their Successful business. This national, field-based role reports directly to the Sales Director and offers the chance to make a real impact on revenue growth and client engagement.
The Role - Drive new business opportunities through self-generated appointments.
- Manage complex, multi-site deals using a consultative approach.
- Research and target prospective accounts in key industries, identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams, and tender processes.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute strategic account plans.
- Deliver presentations and proposals that demonstrate value and secure new business.
Minimum Skills / Experience Required:
- Proven track record in solution or consultative roles within the Fire & Security sector.
- Experience handling complex, multi-site deals and dealing with senior group-level decision-makers.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of Fire & Security regulations and industry trends.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and develop strategic plans.
- Full UK driving licence and relevant Fire & Security qualifications (e.g., FIA, system design).
