Class 2 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Drivers to join our client based in Stanstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations.

Suitable candidate MUST be able to provide 5 years checkable employment references.

Basic DBS check will need to be completed before start.

Duties

• Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Shift: Day shift, 3pm - 11:30pm

Hourly rate £18.21

A morning shift should be available soon (8am 4.30pm)
