Secondary SEN Teacher / SEMH
Location: Chatham
Contract: Full-time, temporary to permanent
Start Date: ASAP or December
We are seeking a resilient and committed Secondary SEN Teacher to join a supportive team working with pupils who present social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

- Food Technology
- Art
- General Cover
The Role:
- Teach and engage vulnerable classes, including one particularly challenging group
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons to inspire learners
- Implement strong behaviour management strategies to support positive learning
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, structured environment
Requirements:
- Experience teaching in Secondary or SEN settings (Primary SEN teachers also considered)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Resilience, reliability, and adaptability are essential
- Open to ECTs and unqualified teachers with relevant experience
- SEMH experience highly desirable
