Paint Technician

Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paint Technician for our client based in Wolverhampton. The paint technician will be working on commercial vehicles, must have experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Paint Technician Responsibilities:

Paint repairs to a range of commercial vehicles.
Working with customers to ensure completed work is in accordance with their requirements.
Accurately measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete jobs.
Adhering to Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness.
Preparing vehicles for spraying.

Maintain spray booth environments with regular audits.
Keeping up to date with product knowledge.

Completion of job cards and other administrative work.
Support workshops team members including Apprentice Technicians as required.

Accurately record time to complete jobs and associated details.

Ad-hoc duties as required.

Paint Technician Details:

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: 15 - 18 per hour

Schedule: Hours-Monday to Friday

Paint Technician Requirements:

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in accident & repair & paint principles is desirable.
Experience working in this role or similar role.
Excellent customer service mindset.
Great communication skills.
Ability to work quickly and effectively.
Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive team member.
Ability to tackle all aspects of painting
